Dr. Mary Blatt is Board Certified Optometrist and Missouri native who specializes in the diagnoses and treatment of ocular diseases. After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, she served in the Peace Corps for two years. Afterwards she obtained her Doctorate of Optometry in 1993 from the University of Missouri in St. Louis. She went on to complete an Ocular Disease Residency at St. Alban’s V.A. Hospital in Queens, New York, concentrating on glaucoma management. There she also served as faculty for the State University of New York, Optometry School. Between 1996-1997, Dr. Blatt completed additional Optometric fellowships in post-operative care of cataract and corneal transplant patients and also LASIK. Dr. Blatt provides routine care including glasses, contacts, and diabetic checks in addition to the treatment of ocular diseases such as glaucoma. She enjoys YOGA and outdoor activities with family.
