Dr. Jonathan Schell is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist who is fellowship trained in Cornea and External disease. He grew up locally in Washington, Missouri. After earning his Bachelor of Arts and Medical Doctorate from St. Louis University, he headed North for specialty training in Ophthalmology at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Schell then completed his fellowship in Cornea, External Disease, and Refractive surgery at the University of Minnesota.

Dr. Schell is the President of Eye Physicians of St. Louis Inc. and owner of STL Vision. In addition to providing comprehensive eye care, he specializes in advanced cataract surgery, full and partial corneal transplants, dry eye, and ocular surface disorder treatments. Dr. Schell has received numerous awards and distinctions during his career including being named a Top Doctor in St. Louis by Castle Connelly and serving as 2025 Board President for the Missouri Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons He enjoys spending his free time traveling, golfing, fishing, and most of all being a dad!
