Dr. Emily Pike received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Washington University in 1996. She received her Master of Public Health in Behavioral Science and Health Education from Saint Louis University in 1998 and her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Missouri – St. Louis College of Optometry in 2014, where she graduated on the Dean’s List.

As an optometry student, Dr. Pike received extensive training on the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease, including glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration. Her rotations also included focuses on pediatric vision and contact lenses. She served as a teaching assistant, a student ambassador and in several leadership positions, including the Missouri
